INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
GEDLING WOMEN'S INSTITUTE'S PROGRAMME OF EVENTS 2018/2019
Throughout the year we organise events and activities for members.
The Committee meets on a regular basis in order to plan as varied a programme as possible, to cater for a wide variety of interests and at the same time fulfilling the aims of the WI.
It is a great opportunity to learn something new, to have a good time and to make new friends.
We meet on the 1st Tuesday of the month in the Memorial Hall on Arnold Lane at Gedling, Nottingham NG4 3HH, directly opposite the Church of All Hallows at 7.30pm.
Our events for 2019/2020 are:
Talk by John Whitfield 'Edward and Mrs Simpson'
Resolutions and Fish and Chip Supper
Talk by Pat Walsh 'The Life of a Magistrate'
Talk by Andrea Bullock 'Self Care'
Talk by Joy James 'Name Dropping'
Talk by David Newsham 'Guide Dogs for the Blind'
Talk by Geoff Cutts 'The Work of the RNLI'
